This total immersion program in Spanish language and culture will provide students with a comprehensive approach and authentic language environment to continue the development of proficiency in Spanish through study and communicative practice. The program is designed to develop language skills within a Spanish cultural framework.
Valladolid is one of the main cities of the old Castille and the capital of Castilla-León. It was founded in the Middle Ages and was the capital of Spain for three centuries, until the royal court moved to Madrid in the seventeenth century. With a population of 400,000 it has become an important urban area, but it still maintains its rich history and culture, as well as lively social life.
Universitas Castellae is a private educational center that specializes in teaching Spanish language and culture to foreign students.

Spanish 3308 is prerequisite. Participants must complete the application packet and be officially admitted to the program. Space is limited; early application is recommended.
